Dental Assistant (Contract Position)

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. As a Dental Assistant, you will support our dentists and dental hygienists in providing high-quality oral healthcare services to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting with dental procedures. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor. This is an excellent opportunity for an English-speaking individual with Egyptian nationality to gain experience working in the beautiful city of Al-Khor, Qatar.

Location : Al-Khor, Qatar

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for patients by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use
• Sterilize instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols
• Assist dentists and dental hygienists during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and providing other support tasks as needed
• Take accurate patient medical histories and record vital signs
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions
• Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently
• Perform other administrative tasks as required

Requirements

Working Conditions

This is a contract position for 6 months with potential for extension based on performance. The working hours are from Sunday to Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm. Our dental clinic is located in Al-Khor, a coastal city known for its cultural heritage and beaches. We offer a competitive salary, housing allowance, transportation, and health insurance benefits.
