We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales / Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will ensure customer satisfaction through effective Sales and delivering results from FEED / Design stage to ordering to stage to ensure repeatable customer business. You will be defining and implementing all sales and marketing activities including but not limited to products, services and systems within the defined industry / O&G segment, in alignment to the given strategy, ensuring that the related product groups increase all relevant metrics in their selected market segments. You will be developing and implementing a market-based approach which includes direct, third-party and project sales whilst building customer relationships with key stakeholders, to educate, inform and solicit support for pursuing market opportunities and converting them to orders.
How you’ll make an impact
- Interpreting a segment strategy to meet requirements.
- Ensuring the value proposition for the target segment is developed and well communicated to all stakeholders, supporting the development and achievement of standards through a clear definition and regular oversight.
- Identifies and prioritizes key accounts and gives appropriate feedback on market developments and requirements, ensuring the achievement of sales volume and targets.
- Monitor appropriate prices and margins within the defined segment and supporting the sales team to negotiate key contracts
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship at senior levels with key customers, stakeholders and decision makers, to ensure effective communication on the segment.
- Responsibilities typical include :
- Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with strong technical background with 10-15 years of experience.Experience in High Voltage, Transformers, Automation Industry with exposure to large projects in Oil and Gas / Power Plants.Possess strong leadership skills and ability to lead virtual team and convince stakeholders in the interest of the project.Ability to work under pressure to deliver the Country sales budgetExperience of SFDC or another ERP platform knowledge is an advantage.Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in SWOT analysis and player’s map.Capability to develop work practices and to take lessons learned and implement them into the processes.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines and excellent collaboration and work with cross functional and cross-cultural team.Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges.Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
