Job Summary
As a Procurement Executive at AISS you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain by managing procurement activities and sourcing goods and services in a timely costeffective manner. This role requires strong negotiation skills attention to detail and the ability to foster relationships with suppliers ensuring AISS receives the best value for its purchases while adhering to our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and source suppliers negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors to secure the best pricing and quality for products and services.
Ensure timely procurement of materials and services while adhering to budgetary constraints and company policies.
Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Finance Operations and Logistics to understand procurement needs and develop strategies for effective purchasing.
Process purchase orders and monitor order statuses ensuring that deliveries are made according to timelines and specifications.
Manage vendor performance including delivery schedules product quality and cost and address any issues that arise.
Maintain accurate procurement records and reports to track purchases expenses and inventory.
Continuously analyze market trends to identify cost saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
Assist in the preparation of monthly procurement reports and provide updates to management on key procurement metrics.
Should be aware of INCO Terms and should follow internal criteria prior to LPO release.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management preferably in a similar industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with procurement software is a plus.
Attention to detail and the ability to think critically to resolve procurement challenges.
