Tender & Proposal Specialist

A Tender Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation, submission, and administration of bids for construction, civil, or HVAC projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit tenders, ensuring compliance with client requirements and government regulations. Coordinate with technical, procurement, finance, and project management teams to collect the necessary documentation and supporting materials for each tender. Review and analyse tender documents, contracts, and project specifications to prepare clear and compliant proposals. Support negotiation and clarification processes with clients, suppliers, and partners. Maintain a comprehensive record of all submitted tenders, correspondences, and contracts, archiving upon completion. Monitor tender portals, track deadlines, and provide regular status and outcome reports to management. Assist in developing and updating standardised bid documentation and templates for future use. Skills Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement, Law, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in tendering, bid preparation, or contract management. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tender management or ERP software. Familiarity with local public procurement regulations and practices is preferred.
