We are looking for an HSE Management System Specialist / Auditor based in Qatar for our future opening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety & Environment policies and programs to ensure compliance with HSE Management System
• Develop internal audit plans and schedules based on the organization’s HSE management system requirements.
• Conduct thorough audits of departments to evaluate the effectiveness and compliance of the HSE management system.
• Prepare detailed audit reports that include findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Communicate audit findings to relevant stakeholders and ensuring timely follow-up on corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE management system requirements and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in HSE regulations, standards, and industry trends.
• Continuously evaluate and improve HSE programs and procedures to enhance the overall safety culture.
• Assist in the development of HSE management procedures, in compliance with all relevant quality standards and procedural / legislative requirements

Certification Requirements

Risk Assessment

Ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks associated with utilities operations, particularly in high-voltage environments and water distribution systems.

Incident Investigation

Proficiency in investigating safety incidents, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Regulatory Compliance

Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to ensure that all operations comply with local and international Health, Safety and Environment regulations.

Auditing

Proficiency in conducting internal management system audits in accordance with ISO 45001 & 14001 standards.

Soft Skills

Advanced capabilities with MS Office, including MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Power BI and HSE bulletin / alert design tools.
