SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

Leading and carrying out complete Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting discipline designs to required standards and quality Carry out mechanical design for treatment plants and pumping stations to PWA standards and quality as and when assigned by the team lead. Initiating and developing the concept designs with optioneering for complete Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting systems designs, Excellent report writing skills. Preparing and generating spread sheets to carry out calculations. Coordination with other Discipline Engineers as applicable. Coordinate with BIM / CAD Technicians concerning project requirements and timelines. Conducting client and project meetings as required by the project. Carry out steady state and surge analysis modeling for pressurized networks. Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met in all designs. Support the project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process to the relevant Authorities. Allocating resources and time effectively Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline. Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables. Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies. Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to Seniors or MEP manager. Attend and contribute in team and project meetings as required. Complete accurate time sheets by set deadline. Take on additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. At least 15+ years of overall experience. Extensive experience in design development. Advanced proficiency in relevant software including AutoCAD, BIM / Revit, HAP, Elite, Watergems etc. Must have thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations. Excellent written and oral communication. Extensive experience in Doha / Qatar is highly preferred. Vertical : Engineering
