Overview
Carry out diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles in line with OEM standards. Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve technical issues. Ensure timely completion of jobs assigned while maintaining quality standards. Provide technical support to service advisors and reception staff regarding repair estimates and customer queries. Record and update job details, findings, and recommendations accurately in the job card / DMS system. Support workshop team members by sharing technical knowledge and providing guidance where required. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards within the workshop. Participate in training programs and continuously update technical knowledge on new automotive technologies. Liaise with technical support teams and OEM representatives for complex diagnostic cases. Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and post-repair quality checks. Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 2–5 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs (dealership experience preferred). Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, electronics, diagnostics). Proficiency in using diagnostic software and workshop tools. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Customer-focused mindset with attention to quality and detail.
