Location : Doha Qatar

Job Duration : 6 Months Contract (Extendable)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Purchase Coordinator to join our team. This critical role is responsible for managing our procurement and sourcing activities requiring a candidate with a specific set of skills and experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive negotiator with a strong background in our industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Conducting supplier negotiations to secure optimal terms.
  • Managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to fulfill material and service requirements.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Education : Diploma graduate.
  • Core Experience : Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in sourcing and supplier negotiation.
  • Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Oracle software is preferred.
  • Professional Skills : Excellent communication, organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Industry Background : Demonstrable experience in marine industrial or logistics industry (marine sector highly preferred).
  • Availability : The candidate must be locally available and able to join immediately.
