BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL | Full time We are seeking a motivatedand capable Product and Services Officer to join our Training team. In thisrole, you will work closely with the Head of Training Services to support thedevelopment and delivery of high-quality, industry-aligned technical trainingsolutions across the engineering and technology sectors.

A strong IT skillset and ahigh level of technical competence is essential for success in this role. Youwill play a key part in ensuring our offerings remain competitive and relevantby supporting the integration of new technologies and tools such as simulationsoftware, VR / AR environments, and other emerging digital platforms. You shouldbe confident in using, demonstrating, and troubleshooting these technologies aspart of both delivery and capability presentations. You will also act as atechnical ambassador for our training products—supporting pre-sales activitiesby showcasing our capabilities to clients and partners, and post-sales byproviding ongoing technical support. This role requires a candidate who is technologicallyminded, quick to grasp complex tools and systems, and confident incommunicating their value to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Product & ServiceSupport :

Assist in the development and refinement of training products and servicesofferings.

Support product lifecycle activities, including design input, testing andimplementation.

Contribute to the alignment of offerings with industry standards, customerneeds, and emerging technologies.

Work collaboratively with internal teams tointegrate feedback and support continuous improvement.

Support the Head of Training Services in client meetings, showcasing trainingproducts and technological capabilities.

Deliver confident, technically informed demonstrations of simulation, VR / AR,and other digital tools.

Support sales activity by clearly articulating product value to bothtechnical and non-technical stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industryrepresentatives.

TechnologyIntegration & Support : Assist in the adoption and use of immersiveand digital technologies in training delivery.

Stay up to date with advancements in simulation, AR / VR, and digital platformsrelevant to training.

Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to colleagues and clientsusing these tools.

Champion innovative approaches that enhance the learner experience andtraining effectiveness.

Governance,Compliance & Documentation : Support compliance with organisational,regulatory, and industry-specific standards.

Assist in preparing documentation for audits, accreditation, and qualityassurance activities.

Maintain records related to product performance, client engagement, andtechnical demonstrations.

Help embed best practices around safety, data security, and responsibletechnology use.

Key Accountabilities / Performance Measures : Product &Demonstration Effectiveness :

  • Support and deliver high-quality technicaldemonstrations of simulation, VR / AR, and related tools that clearly communicatevalue to clients, contributing to positive pre-sales outcomes and achievingtarget engagement levels as defined by BSL Training Services.

TechnologyIntegration & Competency :

  • Demonstrate operational competency in the use oftraining technologies, maintaining a consistently high standard in tool usage,setup, and troubleshooting. Meet internal benchmarks for adoption, usageaccuracy, and readiness to support training and sales activity.
  • ClientEngagement & Communication : - Contribute to successful client interactions by delivering accurate andengaging product briefings and demonstrations, achieving positive feedback fromclient stakeholders and internal reviews, and supporting the conversion ofclient interest into active training engagements. Compliance,Documentation & Process Support : - Maintain accurate, timely, and complete records related to product support,demonstrations, and client interactions, with zero tolerance for criticaldocumentation errors, and active contribution to compliance reporting and auditpreparation processes. Requirements

    Qualifications / Functional Knowledge :

    Strong IT Skillset, with demonstrableexperience in using and supporting digital training technologies, includingsimulation software, VR / AR platforms, or interactive learning tools.

    Recognised technical qualification at Level 4 orhigher in a relevant STEM discipline (e.g., Engineering, Digital Technologies,Applied Sciences).

    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical,training, or client-facing role within engineering, technology, or relatedsectors.

    Familiarity with training delivery and learningdesign principles; a recognised adult learning or instructional supportqualification (minimum Level 3) is desirable.

    Confident in conducting product demonstrationsand technical briefings for a range of audiences, including clients and stakeholders.

    Technically minded, with the ability to quicklylearn and operate new systems, platforms, and tools used in training ordemonstration settings.

    Experience working in a technical, engineering,or training environment, with exposure to operational processes, clientsupport, or service coordination.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills,with a customer focused approach and ability to build positive workingrelationships.

    Proficient in the use of standard businesssoftware (e.g., MS Office Suite) and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams,SharePoint); experience with LMS or content authoring platforms isadvantageous.

    Awareness of Safety, Health & Environment(SHE) principles and the ability to support safe working and trainingpractices.

    Organised and proactive, with the ability tosupport multiple work streams and respond flexibly to changing priorities.
