Primary Purpose of the Job
To lead and supervise the planning and execution of technical audits in accordance with the Department’s approved audit plan, within budget and in accordance with Audit Manual and Global Auditing Standards.
Required Experience and Skills
- Has a minimum of 10 years internal auditing experience and expertise in corporate governance, risk management and control practices
- Oil and gas industry experience will be an advantage
- Strong analytical skills required to identify and resolve business risks and compliance issues
- Experience in leading and managing teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to successfully engage management in discussions on key risks and issues that need resolution
- Demonstrates and promotes commitment to ethical standards
Educational Qualifications
Has a university degree in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Process, Chemical or Petroleum EngineeringValid membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, etc.) is desirable#J-18808-Ljbffr
