Responsibilities & Duties

Diagnose and treat oral health conditions : Conduct examinations to diagnose issues, including cancer screenings, injuries, and decay. Perform surgeries : Carry out complex procedures such as wisdom tooth extractions, dental implant placements, jaw surgeries, and corrective surgeries for conditions like cleft lip and palate. Develop treatment plans : Create and implement individualized plans for patients, considering their specific dental and overall health needs. Provide patient care and education : Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures to maintain oral health. Manage anesthesia and sedation : Administer anesthesia and sedation in a safe and compliant manner for surgical procedures. Maintain records : Keep accurate, detailed, and up-to-date records of patient treatments, progress, and care. Collaborate with other professionals : Work effectively with other dental professionals, such as orthodontists and periodontists, as well as medical specialists. Ensure safety and compliance : Adhere to strict health, safety, and infection control regulations to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Supervise staff : May supervise dental assistants, hygienists, and other support staff during surgical procedures. Skills
