Welder

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures.

Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, ARC, etc.).

Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions as required.

Perform cutting, grinding, and finishing of welded parts.

Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on welding tools and equipment.

Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet project goals.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Report any hazards, defects, or unsafe equipment to management.

Requirements

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Technical training or certification in welding (preferred)

Experience :

Minimum 2–3 years of welding experience in a similar role or industry

Experience with various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, ARC)

Technical Skills :

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
