The hotel offers 225 rooms and suites, nine dining and entertainment outlets—including two nightlife venues and outdoor seating—two ballrooms, a 490 sqm gym, a 20-meter indoor swimming pool, and a full-service deluxe spa. Responsibilities
- Set up and check equipment for banquet functions based on daily issue of function sheets, including removal and storage
- Carry out work as assigned to ensure the correct and functional setup of all functions
- Operate equipment for functions as required
- Ensure on a monthly basis that an inventory is conducted for all equipment used for banquets
- Ensure that all outgoing and incoming equipment which have been requested for banquets outside catering are logged daily
- Carry out assignments on the “Preventive Maintenance Programme”
- Cooperate and provide assistance with other Engineering colleagues whenever necessary and available
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness inside the A / V control room and A / V storage room
- Inspect all function rooms daily and breakout areas, ensuring all lights, A / C and services are defect free and repair or replace lamps immediately
- Carry out any work requested by the Superiors
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
- Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when the situation arises
- Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
- Ensure that all emergency calls are promptly and efficiently responded to
- To be fully conversant with the BMS system and ensure it is fully functional at all times
