Job Description
- Coordinate and administer telecommunications activities
- Confer with business units to determine phone system needs, to establish project priority, and to assist with resolution of telecommunication problems
- Participate in IT teams to evaluate phone hardware and software requirements
- Perform analysis of needs and contribute to the design of phone architecture, integration, and installation
- Responsible for all company telecom, phone, faxes, fax servers and phone switches
- Understanding, knowledge, and experience with Cisco telephony architecture including PBX, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection and Cisco Unified Contact Center.
- Understanding, knowledge, and experience with video, voice and content collaboration and communication solutions.
- Understanding, knowledge, and experience with BlackBerry and EMM solutions
- Understanding and knowledge of voice recording and dialler software
- Administer programming and support for all moves and changes required on Cisco switches and VoIP
- Support document and support of all telephony disaster recovery for all client sites
- Assist and maintain documentation for the phone netServices and IT related support
- Assist and maintain a formal system of evaluating all telephone systems and materials used to maintain them
Key Responsibilities :
Executes troubleshooting methodology and root-cause analysis to resolve complex and advanced level problemsAssists in testing, adjusting, and installing equipment to meet provisioned request SLA’sExecutes systems maintenance plans to proactively manage reliability and service expectationsPrepares and maintains technical documentation to guide netServices users, and to assist with the on-going operation, maintenance, and development of the netServicesDrives problems to resolution, handling multiple complex issues simultaneously while effectively communicate and engage cross functional technical peersAdheres to the agreed event management notification and escalation proceduresPerform periodic reviews of Configuration Items (CIs) to ensure compliance with policies and standards, and process thorough operational readiness tasksConfigures, develops, integrates, implements and regularly maintains netServices solutionsSupports implementation / deployment of netServices enhancements or new netServices designsAssists peers and utilises software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose problems and factors affecting netServices performanceDefine procedures for system and component installation, acceptance testing and install proactive maintenance activitiesCoordinates problem resolution, creates problem record, determines severity and prioritization classificationEvaluates, and recommends hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment to enhance the performance of netServices design and systems.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
CCIE collaboration certification or equivalent experience Data center industry certifications
Certified in ITIL frameServices and processes
Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant field :
