Our Client, a leading Oil & Gas Company in Qatar, is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to be based in Doha and reports to the CFO.

Oversees a company's financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance. The role requires a strong financial background, leadership skills, and an in-depth understanding of the oil and gas industry's specific challenges and regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and cash flow management.
• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's business goals and drive profitability.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts to track performance against strategic targets.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and improved performance.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including IFRS.
• Oversee project budgets, track costs, and manage contracts for large Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

Work Environment

Location : Qatar, a major global hub for the energy industry.

Reporting : Senior-level position reporting to a Finance Director / CFO.

Salary Range : QAR 55‑65K.
