About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This position is exclusively for Qatari Nationals and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of Qatar's road infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive road maintenance strategies and plans

Conduct regular inspections of road networks to assess conditions and identify maintenance needs

Design and oversee road repair and rehabilitation projects

Analyze traffic patterns and recommend improvements for road safety and efficiency

Collaborate with contractors and government agencies to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards

Prepare detailed technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules

Manage budgets and resources for road maintenance projects

Stay updated on innovative road maintenance technologies and best practices

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians

Ensure all projects adhere to environmental and safety standards

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in road engineering and maintenance

In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, with a focus on road construction and maintenance techniques

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software, GIS software, and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Thorough understanding of Qatar's road standards, specifications, and regulations

Familiarity with local environmental conditions affecting road maintenance

Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent is preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Qatari Nationality is required for this position
