Primary Purpose Of The Job Provide technical design and engineering services in Civil / Structural Engineering (Offshore) for all assigned engineering projects, achieving technical quality of work in accordance with QatarEnergy procedures while considering quality, schedule, cost, and HSE.

Required Experience and Skills

10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.

Conduct Civil / Structural Engineering (Offshore) Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects from initial concept definition through engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning.

Develop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED / EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery.

Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance.

Review and evaluate Contract Changes / Variations against approved guidelines and practices.

Identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to Civil / Structural Engineering (Offshore).

Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.

Good communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent preferable.
