We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Design Manager to lead our fit-out projects in Doha Qatar. As a key member of our team you will oversee the entire design process for commercial and residential fit-out projects ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations and adhere to local regulations.
Manage and coordinate all aspects of the design process for fit-out projects from concept to completion
Lead and mentor a team of designers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resource allocations
Collaborate with clients architects contractors and suppliers to ensure project success
Review and approve design concepts drawings and specifications
Ensure compliance with local building codes regulations and sustainability standards in Qatar
Present design concepts and progress reports to clients and stakeholders
Implement quality control measures throughout the design and execution phases
Stay updated on industry trends and innovative design solutions
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field
Minimum of 15years of experience in interior design or fit-out projects with a focus on large-scale commercial or residential projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit or similar design software
Strong project management skills with experience in budget management and team leadership
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Qatar
Familiarity with sustainable design practices
Professional certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP) preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
