Job Summary The Lead Structural Engineer is responsible for structural and foundation design technical analysis and or resolution of engineering problems and also supervises the documentation of the structural drawings in coordination with the architectural and works Job Responsibilities 1 Lead the structural design process overseeing the development of design concepts calculations and detailed drawings for various building projects Provide technical guidance and mentorship to structural engineering teams ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards Collaborate closely with architects contractors and other stakeholders to integrate structural requirements seamlessly into overall project designs Conduct structural analysis using advanced software tools to evaluate the performance and stability of building structures under various loading conditions Review and approve structural drawings specifications and construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements Manage and coordinate structural engineering tasks schedules and budgets to meet project deadlines and client expectations Perform site visits and inspections to assess construction progress resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with design specifications Evaluate and recommend innovative structural solutions to optimize project performance costeffectiveness and sustainability Act as a technical liaison between the structural engineering team and other project disciplines facilitating effective communication and coordination Stay updated on emerging trends technologies and best practices in structural engineering to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team
