Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

الوصف الوظيفيMinimum three (3) years of experience as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). Emergency and / or Primary Care medicine experience. Current and unrestricted license from any US State, District of Columbia or US Territory to provide healthcare within scope of practice. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. American Heart Association - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification is preferred. DEA License. Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent(s) is desired. Work is normally performed in a typical interior / office work environment. Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs. Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance to drive company vehicles Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate This position is unaccompanied. US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required. Ability to obtain a DoS clearance if one is required. Must be able to relocate to Qatar. A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.
Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner will utilize expertise to diagnose, mitigate, and treat injuries and illnesses in a hospital setting. We are looking for candidates with a commitment to a proactive approach to workplace safety while taking a diplomatic and professional approach to customer interactions.
About the role
- Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, and communication of issues.
- Ensures proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment and recovery and requests necessary tests and follow up visits and refer patients to specialists as necessary.
- Stabilize, evaluate and treat emergency patients.
- Other duties as assigned.
