Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Follow up and monitor any project management involving diving operations activities of designated contracts
• Prepare contract correspondence to address issues with contracts and tenders assigned to
• Ensure that diving equipment and devices are maintained and used in compliance with their highest safety regulations and standards
• Monitor and review task procedures and required JSA's
• Monitor the PMS of diving and dive lifting equipment certification in order to ensure that all equipment's are being used and maintained appropriately
• Review and approve required equipment requisitions to conduct contracts as agreed in Scope of Services
• Follow-up on pre-inspection and third-party quality certification of the diving support vessels, dive lifting equipment in order to provide the necessary safety information
• Monitor and record contact conformity and compliance
• Keep documented evidence to support ISO certification and audits
• Assist in reviewing and ensure effective maintenance and utilization of diving reports in order to effectively manage future projects, dives, medical examinations, and training courses taken, as relevant
• Ensure effective maintenance of occupational health and safety ensuring that all relevant policies and measures are followed at all times, as required by the client and best guidance-regulations
• Ensure safe operations to avoid high impact on projects and the environment by means of complying with QHSE standards and client requirements
• Provide recommendations on new subordinate hires and ensure the availability of all resources required to perform assigned tasks and activities
• Supervise designated subordinate staff, assign work activities, monitor performance and review results
• Act as a coach to designated subordinates, identify their training and career development, recommend training courses and follow-up on their personnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves and absenteeism
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned Education & Professional Qualification :

Relevant industry and vocational qualifications and certificates (closed bell and / or air diving supervisor certification preferred)

Auditor qualification (preferred Lead Audit) for ISO accreditation framework

Professional Experience :

Min 8 years of experience in Diving field

years of which in a managerial role

Operations and Projects Management experience

Geographic Experience :

GCC / Middle East experience is required

Computer Skills :

High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project

Language Skills :

Business fluent English (written & spoken)

Market / Industry / Functional Knowledge :

Strong knowledge and understanding of International Marine Contractors

Association (IMCA) and International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP)

standards

Strong knowledge in handling various diving equipment

Strong knowledge of diving operations, both air and saturation

Knowledge of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) and Survey operations

Knowledge of ISO code and QA / QC management skill
