The Asset Management Senior Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategic asset management plans and overseeing the full lifecycle of IT assets—from acquisition to retirement. This role ensures accurate asset records, compliance with asset management policies, and effective coordination with finance, procurement, and other cross-functional teams. The specialist will also conduct audits, manage asset performance, and provide analytical insights and reporting to support organizational decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic asset management plans aligned with organizational goals.
Manage and maintain accurate IT asset records and configuration data.
Oversee the full asset lifecycle, including acquisition, tracking, maintenance, warranty monitoring, lease management, and disposal.
Conduct periodic asset audits and ensure reconciliation with finance and procurement teams.
Ensure compliance with asset management policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Perform risk reviews, asset performance assessments, and lifecycle evaluations.
Maintain and update asset registers while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Provide detailed asset‑related reports, analysis, and recommendations to management.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support asset planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Provide technical guidance and support on asset management processes and best practices.
Required Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in
Information Technology ,
Business Administration , or a related field.
Certification in IT Asset Management ( CITAM or equivalent ) is preferred.
Minimum
6 years of experience
in IT Asset Management or Configuration Management.
Proven experience in managing asset databases, lifecycle tracking, inventory systems, and audit compliance.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency with asset management systems and inventory control tools.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
Solid understanding of asset lifecycle management, procurement, and disposal processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
