Leadership & Team Management Lead the fitness team, set expectations, provide coaching, conduct appraisals, and support hiring, training, and performance management.
Ensure staff follow hotel policies, wellbeing protocols, and service standards.
Operations & Service Delivery Oversee daily fitness center operations, including gym supervision, equipment upkeep, cleanliness, and supply management.
Manage group exercise programs, recruit instructors, and ensure class quality.
Deliver services as needed, including personal training and group classes.
Host guests professionally and ensure high service standards.
Administration & Financial Support Maintain accurate records, schedules, incident reports, payroll support, and member data.
Assist the Spa Director with budgeting, reporting, planning, and marketing updates.
Manage vendor contracts, purchasing needs, and monthly income reports.
Guest Experience & Quality Control Ensure exceptional guest experiences through daily walkthroughs, quality audits, and rapid resolution of complaints.
Maintain high cleanliness and facility standards, ensuring positive feedback and service excellence.
Health, Safety & Hygiene Enforce all safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures for guests and staff.
Keep all areas clean, safe, and well-maintained, reporting hazards immediately.
Qualifications
Proven experience in fitness, recreation, or wellness center management.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management abilities.
Certified personal trainer or fitness professional (preferred).
Excellent guest service and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
Knowledge of health, safety, and wellness standards.
Ability to deliver training, group classes, and personal coaching as required.
