Role Accountabilities
SME Business Scaling & Partnership Management
- Own the commercial strategy for scaling Ooredoo Money's SME business ecosystem, including merchant services, business accounts, and value-added services
- Identify, evaluate, and commercially onboard SME-focused partners including business solution providers, accounting software companies, and supply chain finance partners
- Negotiate commercial agreements, revenue sharing models, and SLAs with SME ecosystem partners to ensure optimal business outcomes
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for SME services, including pricing models, business incentives, and acquisition campaigns
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SME services while maintaining commercial viability and regulatory compliance
Credit Risk & Portfolio Commercial Management
Own the commercial P&L for Ooredoo Money's SME and Microlending business linesDevelop and execute scaling strategies to grow loan origination volumes, portfolio size, and revenue contributionAnalyze credit market trends, competitor positioning, and regulatory dynamics to optimize commercial strategy and maintain competitive advantageManage key institutional relationships and negotiate commercial terms with microlending and SME business partnersLeverage advanced analytics to identify lending opportunities, customer behavior patterns, and credit risk indicators across individual and SME segmentsBuild and maintain comprehensive dashboards tracking lending performance, portfolio metrics, commercial KPIs, and early warning indicatorsConduct deep-dive analyses on borrower data, transaction patterns, and repayment behavior to optimize underwriting criteria and improve loan economicsGenerate actionable insights from lending and SME transaction data to inform commercial strategy, risk management, and market expansion decisionsCross-Functional Commercial Coordination
Collaborate closely with technology, risk management, and compliance teams to ensure commercial requirements are integrated into lending platform developmentDraft detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that translate business objectives into actionable technical, risk, and operational specificationsCoordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for lending solutions, ensuring commercial requirements are met before launchMonitor microlending industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments to inform commercial strategy and product positioningConduct regular analysis of competitor lending offerings, pricing models, underwriting criteria, and market positioning strategiesIdentify emerging fintech lending technologies and assess their commercial viability for Ooredoo Money's ecosystemSupport strategic decision-making through comprehensive market intelligence and commercial opportunity assessments in the SME financing spaceStakeholder Communication & Reporting
Prepare and present regular commercial performance reports to senior management, highlighting lending portfolio metrics, SME business performance, and growth opportunitiesManage stakeholder communications across internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment of commercial objectives and risk managementLead commercial discussions with key SME clients, lending partners, and regulatory stakeholders to drive business growth and resolve commercial issuesKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred8+ years of experience in SME banking, lending business or commercial management within fintech, banking, or digital financial servicesProven track record of launching financial products and managing commercial P&L responsibility with demonstrated revenue growth in SME services or lendingMinimum Entry Qualifications
6+ years of experience in commercial / business management within fintech, banking, or digital financial servicesBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferredPersonal Profile
