Quantity surveyor - Job Description :

• Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required and labour involved.
• Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
• undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
• Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information available to prepare tender
• Pricing of Excavations, Concrete, Brickwork, Woodwork, Roof tiling, External Render, Drainage, External works and minor landscaping
• Understand the implications of health and safety regulations. Qualifications and Skills :
• Strong numeracy and financial management skills
• Pre- and post-contract experience
• Detailed knowledge of past and current building and construction technology, processes, materials, business and legal matters.
• Qualified Quantity Surveyor or Civil Engineering
