Protection Officer for Non-English Speaking Communities in Al-Wakra, Qatar

Our organization is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Protection Officers in Al-Wakra, Qatar. As a Protection Officer, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to vulnerable non-English speaking communities, particularly those of Pakistani and African descent. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals without prior experience in the field to make a meaningful impact and gain valuable skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular outreach and engagement with non-English speaking communities in Al-Wakra, particularly those of Pakistani and African descent.
• Build trusting relationships with community members to better understand their needs and concerns.
• Identify protection risks and vulnerabilities within these communities and provide appropriate support and referrals.
• Conduct home visits to assess the living conditions of community members.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to individuals who have experienced trauma or abuse.
• Organize awareness-raising sessions on relevant topics such as child protection, gender-based violence, and human rights.
• Collaborate with local organizations and authorities to address protection issues affecting these communities.
• Document all cases, maintain accurate records, and submit regular reports on activities.
