CSSD Technician

Job Summary

Technician works to prepare, sterilize, install, assemble, or clean all laboratory or healthcare equipment required for surgeries, examinations, and medical procedures. The CSSD Technician ensures equipment, instruments, and supplies can be reused safely to prevent infections.

Job Responsibilities 1

• Sort, document, and disinfect all collected equipment, instruments, tubes, and bottles using the appropriate procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect, operate sterilization machines effectively, and ensure equipment is appropriately sterilized for reuse.
• Collect healthcare and laboratory supplies from different departments regularly and promptly.
• Disassemble, sterilize, reassemble, and pack instruments according to the infection control guidelines.
• Monitor the sterilization process of clinical equipment and healthcare supplies to ensure quality product and faultless outcome.
