A strategic leader responsible for the vision, delivery, and growth of an organization's Azure cloud practice. This person drives the cloud strategy, manages operations, and oversees the complete service lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Cloud strategy and innovation : Set the strategic direction for Azure services and lead the cloud transformation journey. This includes staying current with emerging Azure technologies like AI and machine learning to recommend innovative solutions.

Service delivery and operations : Oversee the 24 / 7 delivery of Azure services, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability. This includes establishing and managing managed service models, incident response, and service level agreements (SLAs).

Architecture and design : Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) for clients. Ensure solutions are resilient, scalable, and secure in line with modern cloud architecture principles.

Security, compliance, and governance : Establish and enforce cloud governance frameworks and security policies. This includes ensuring compliance with local Qatari regulations and global standards such as ISO 27001.

Financial management : Manage the financial performance of the Azure practice, which includes budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing cloud costs.

Team leadership and development : Build and lead a high-performing team of Azure architects, engineers, and consultants. Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Business development : Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to develop new Azure business opportunities. Play a key role in client engagement, presenting technical solutions, and influencing cloud adoption.

Key qualifications and skills

Experience :

• Extensive, proven experience in IT leadership, with a strong focus on Azure cloud strategy and operations.
• Significant experience managing global or regional cloud environments and distributed technical teams.
• A track record of managing technology projects, cloud migrations, and service delivery.
