Job Description

Wood is actively seeking Expressions of Interest for a

Senior Electrical Engineer

to support future growth in our expanding business. The projects team focuses on delivering across FEED, Pre-FEED, Brownfield, Greenfield scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for executing project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including Wood and / or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost, and schedule targets.

This is a long-term assignment based in Qatar.

Job Responsibilities

Produce electrical deliverables independently

Apply international codes and standards

Design electrical systems (SLDs, protection schemes, etc.)

Develop and review technical documents and specifications

Use software tools like SKM, ETAP, SPEL

Lead discipline tasks on small to medium projects

Supervise engineers and designers

Manage vendor quotations and technical evaluations

Conduct site surveys and develop reports

Coordinate with clients and vendors

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

Proven skills in Oil & Gas electrical design

Experience with greenfield and brownfield projects, offshore and onshore

Knowledge of electrical design tools and safety procedures

Leadership and communication skills
