Person Profile

A qualified lifeguard with exceptional swimming skills, strongcommunication abilities, and keen situational awareness. Must possessrecognized lifeguard certification, current CPR and first aid credentials.Responsible for ensuring water safety, promptly responding to emergencies, andmaintaining a secure and orderly pool environment while collaboratingeffectively with swimming / PE teachers.

Requirements

1.             Qualifications :

Strong swimming skills andphysical fitness.

Effective communication andsituational awareness.

Problem-solving abilities andresponsibility.

Valid lifeguard certificationrecognised in Qatar.

Current CPR and first aidcertification.

2. Knowledge and Skills. He / Sheshould :

Understands and knows when toenforce water safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensures asafe environment.

Knows and follows properemergency response protocols, including first aids techniques, CPR, AED usagesand how to handle various types of water-related emergencies.

Being able to assess potentialrisks and hazards in the water and around the pool area.

Knows how to provide clearinstructions, offer reassurance to distressed swimmers and coordinate withemergency personnel.

Knowledge of weatherconditions and their potential impact on pool safety.

Understanding the proper usageof rescue equipment like buoyancy aids, life rings, backboards, and AEDdevices.

Proactive in giving supportand to collaborate with Swimming / PE teacher

3. Responsibilities.   He / She should :

Monitor pool area, enforcesafety rules, and respond swiftly to emergencies.

Administer first aid and CPRas needed; coordinate emergency procedures.

Interact professionally withpool users, addressing concerns and promoting safety guidelines.

Maintain pool cleanliness andequipment functionality.

Keep accurate records of poolusage, incidents, and maintenance.
