Legal Consultant

Legal Consultant (BSL) Provides legal support to various departments, drafting agreements for financial operations and ensuring compliance with national laws, international standards, and internal governance frameworks. Specializes in advising public sector entities on financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review contracts and procedures for legal and regulatory compliance.

Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Monitor and interpret changes in financial laws, tax regulations, and fiscal policies affecting government and public sector entities.

Support training programs on financial legal standards and regulatory awareness.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related discipline.

18+ years of experience in legal advisory with a focus on financial compliance, including at least 3 years in a governmental role within the State of Qatar.

Deep understanding of Qatari financial regulations, including tax law, anti-corruption, and public procurement standards.

Experience in financial crisis management, legal audits, and regulatory investigations.

Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
