Job Summary
The Facility Maintenance Planner is a hybrid role that bridges facilities management, procurement, and maintenance planning. The role’s primary responsibility is to ensure facility maintenance activities are properly planned, documented, executed, and supported by timely procurement of goods and services. This position requires strong coordination skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and a proactive approach to keeping the facility operating efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively.
Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and purchase facility-related goods and services (equipment, spare parts, consumables, tools, etc.).
- Onboard, manage, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Review and manage contracts, service agreements, renewals, and vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, U.S. government regulations, and local Qatari regulations.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, generators, etc.).
- Create and manage job orders in ALCS (Automated Logistics Control System), track progress, and document completion.
- Work with Logistics to ensure spare parts, consumables, and services are available on time to support scheduled maintenance.
- Assist in developing and monitoring facility maintenance budgets.
- Track procurement commitments, expenditures, and reporting in alignment with program requirements.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements and applicable standards.
- Support emergency response and urgent maintenance needs by coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Collaborate with facilities management, operations, and program teams to ensure operational availability of facility infrastructure.
Required Skills and Experience
Ability to deploy full-time to Qatar; 100% on-site support is required.Ability to lift 50 lbs and successfully pass a health screening physical.2 years of professional experience in facilities management, procurement, or maintenance planning.Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling systems (ALCS or equivalent tools).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.Required Qualifications
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.Ability to obtain and maintain a Raytheon-issued work authorization and any required local permits in Qatar.Must possess a valid Qatar Residence, Driving License and transportation.Fluency in written and spoken English.#J-18808-Ljbffr
