QC Inspector (Painting / Coating) - Qatar

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QC Inspector (Painting / Coating) to join our Oil & Gas project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will ensure that all painting and coating works meet project specifications, international quality standards, and safety requirements. This position offers hands‑on field exposure and the opportunity to work on a high‑profile project with a reputed contracting company.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and quality control of painting and coating works as per project standards and specifications.
• Verify surface preparation, environmental conditions, and coating applications before, during, and after painting.
• Ensure proper documentation, including inspection reports, calibration certificates, and coating system data sheets.
• Conduct visual and DFT (Dry Film Thickness) inspections and ensure compliance with applicable standards (SSPC, NACE, ISO, etc.).
• Coordinate with construction, QA / QC, and client representatives for inspection and approval activities.
• Identify and report non‑conformances and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all safety and environmental protocols are strictly followed during painting / coating operations.
