We are seeking a skilled and efficient Staff Cafeteria Cook to join our team at a prestigious resort in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our staff members, ensuring a positive dining experience while maintaining food safety standards. Plan and prepare nutritious and appealing meals for resort staff members Develop and update menu items based on seasonal availability and staff preferences Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards Manage inventory and order supplies as needed Collaborate with the cafeteria team to ensure smooth operations during meal services Monitor food quality and presentation Accommodate special dietary requirements and food allergies Assist in controlling food costs and minimizing waste Participate in menu planning and recipe development Ensure compliance with all health department regulations and resort policies Qualifications
Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen setting Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques Excellent understanding of food safety principles and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Team player with good communication abilities Culinary degree or diploma preferred Current food safety certification required Knowledge of various cuisines, including Middle Eastern (preferred) Understanding of dietary restrictions and food allergies Experience in a resort or hotel setting is a plus Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Additional Information
