• Key Responsibilities
• Receive and inspect all kitchen-related deliveries for quality, accuracy, and safety.
• Verify goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to suppliers and procurement.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and safe food storage practices.
• Support kitchen operations through accurate inventory management.
• Maintain FIFO (first in, first out) system to reduce waste and ensure freshness.
• Coordinate with procurement and kitchen teams for supply needs.
• Assist in stock counts, audits, and reporting.
• Contribute to cost control by following budget guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the receiving area.###
• Requirements
• Previous experience in a kitchen receiving, storekeeping, or inventory role.
• Strong knowledge of
• food safety, HACCP, and procurement processes
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a
• fast-paced hospitality environment
• Physically able to lift and move kitchen supplies.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting tasks.###
