Job description

We are looking for a Survey Engineer who holds a UPDA Grade A certification and has a minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction sector . The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in surveying site coordination and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct land topographic and construction surveys with precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain survey data maps and reports.
  • Coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Perform site layout and ensure work execution aligns with design specifications.
  • Verify accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and project standards.

Requirements

  • UPDA Grade A certification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Required Skills

    Pre-Contract and Procurement negotiation and finalization along with Tender team Post Contract Activities Contract correspondences invoices Variations EOTs and Claims Estimated the cost expected cost of the project prior issuing the tenders The budget is determined through our study and evaluation of the projects Managing all official commercial and contractual correspondences Prepare and review Contract Document and advice the Management with suitable amendments. Prepare and review Payment certificates TOC and Performance Certificate. Review and recommend Cost implication variations and additional works Maintain and manage Project risk to ensure early identification of risk and minimize the negative impacts Collaborate with divisions to ensure proper support in new tender / Proposal preparation as well as contract negotiations and identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to the company policy and determine the final Price Develop work breakdown structure and determine major milestones for control and integrity work defined by contract Provide Contractual guidance to assigned personnel and ensure proficiency and timelines of contract administration. Handling claims agreements and arbitration effectively. Review and certify the released and submitted payments. Prepare and review all claims EOT and variation orders Risk assessment and mitigation Plan. Oversee the tender package (scope of work condition of contract time schedule BOQ ) before launching to the contractors (bidders). Assistance of the client during the tender period including Tenderers evaluation and contract award. Ensure that the Design and supervision projects are well managed according to contract scope timeline and budget. Participates in the establishment of construction methods and project schedules
