PRINCIPAL ECON ANALYST (PORTFL & STRTGY)

Primary Purpose of the Job

Develop and monitor industry benchmark and market intelligence tools to analyse and recommend to management actions on QatarEnergy’s asset portfolio.

Required Experience and Skills

Minimum 10 years of work experience in various disciplines related to the Oil & Gas industry, with an emphasis on economics or industry analysis, corporate strategy or similar functions. Requires strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to manage inter-department relationships as well as senior management / partners’ executive relationships. Excellent problem solving, financial, economic skills as well as ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Excellent oral / written communication skills in English are required. Arabic is a plus.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor degree in an appropriate economics or relevant discipline from a recognized university. Related postgraduate qualification (MSc. or MBA) is recommended.
