Data Scientist / AI Engineer (Bilingual – English and Arabic Full Proficiency)

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist / AI Engineer (4+ years overall experience) (Bilingual – Arabic & English proficient) with deep hands‑on expertise in designing and deploying Generative AI (GenAI) and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience developing Chat‑with‑Documents or internal enterprise LLM based assistants using Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Search, and Azure Machine Learning, ideally within regulated or enterprise environments.

The role involves building and optimizing GenAI‑powered internal chatbots that enable employees to query organizational documents, policies, and knowledge bases through natural language queries.

This position is based in Doha, with occasional travel to other Middle East client locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GenAI and RAG‑based chatbots using Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, and Azure ML.
• Build document ingestion, embedding, and retrieval pipelines for enterprise knowledge sources.
• Prepare and process multilingual (English–Arabic) data ensuring quality and semantic accuracy.
• Deploy and manage AI solutions.
• Evaluate model accuracy, latency, and hallucination rates with ongoing monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with Responsible AI and data privacy frameworks.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to align solutions with real use cases.
• Support Presales activities – Develop point of view and thought leadership documentations, develop quick AI prototypes, proof‑of‑concepts (PoCs), and client demos to support business development and pre‑sales efforts.
• Translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights for business leaders and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Team Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing – Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
