Testing & Commissioning Manager

Overview

My client are one of the world’s leading Principal Main Contractors who have, in their 120 year history, delivered iconic projects across all continents within the Building and Infrastructure sectors. With over 10,000 employees globally, they are renowned for their design-and-build capability and for using highly innovative construction methods. Our client has been in the GCC region for over 20 years and have recently been awarded a multi‑million dollar mixed‑use development project in Doha, Qatar. The scheme will consist of high‑rise buildings for commercial, hotel and retail use, and will undertake all the traditional principal main contracting duties. The project is on site and the programme is ongoing. We are seeking to recruit a Testing & Commissioning Manager to work as part of the MEP and Construction team on site.

Responsibilities

Producing testing and commissioning strategy plans, forms, procedures, manuals, and project close out documents Formulating commissioning programmes Overseeing installation and commissioning of MEP systems Working with the client, consultant and design teams Working with the MEP teams

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Current GCC experience Currently working as a T&C Manager – Testing & Commissioning Engineer or in a very similar capacity Experience working for a main contractor on building projects
