Position : Electrical / Instrument Inspector
Minimum Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering Diploma, or suitable equivalent plus Trade Certificates in Electrical and / or Instrumentation.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience as inspection personnel for Oil & Gas projects, 5 years of which must be in the onshore Gas Facilities sector, preferably in LNG.
- Familiar with electrical and instrumentation specific codes and standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, NETA, ATEX / IECEX-60079, etc.).
- Experience in inspection activities during procurement, fabrication, installation, hook-up, and commissioning of oil & gas production facilities projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Implement QA / QC activities including those of Subcontractors’ Works in accordance with approved QCP / ITPs and procedures, method statements, and other contract documents.Prepare and sign off applicable records for quality surveillance, inspections, and tests.Ensure availability of appropriate versions of applicable work documents such as AFC.Review and verify drawings, specifications, and international codes / standards.Provide sufficient feedback to the Quality Manager / Engineer on day-to-day quality issues.Note : Skills : iec,atex / iecex-60079,oil & gas,onshore gas,commissioning,codes,instrumentation inspections.,projects
