Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of meats, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, and providing excellent customer service. You should be knowledgeable about different cuts of meat, meat preparation techniques, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities :
- Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats (beef, pork, poultry, lamb, etc.)
- Prepare meat cuts to customer specifications or company standards
- Ensure all meat is stored and handled in accordance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment
- Monitor product freshness and stock levels; rotate stock as needed
- Provide advice and recommendations to customers on meat selection and preparation
- Follow health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
