Overview Position Summary : Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs. Complete opening and closing duties as necessary, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being. Report incidents to management and Loss Prevention as they occur. Document pertinent information for communication with management.
Responsibilities
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional; protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Communicate clearly and professionally; develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond to concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; read and verify information and visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move / lift / carry / push / pull objects up to 50 pounds; maneuver in various spaces; reach overhead and below the knees with bending, twisting, and stooping; perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
Note : This role involves regular interaction with guests and colleagues to maintain a high level of service and safety.
Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education : High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience : At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience : No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification : None
