Responsibilities

Drive safe, reliable, and efficient operations through process optimization initiatives.

Investigate production issues and implement root cause-based corrective actions.

Enhance unit monitoring (yields, quality, flow rates, catalysts, etc.) using advanced tools.

Support PHA, MOC & plant modifications, including engineering design and implementation.

Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and process safety measures.

Ensure compliance with QHSE standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Analyze process data, prepare reports, and support decision-making.

Lead or participate in technical evaluations, vendor selections, and chemical approvals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.

5+ years of experience in Process Engineering within the Petrochemical / O&G industry.

Expertise in : Polyethylene, Ethylene, Sulfur, AGRU, Utilities.

Process simulation & troubleshooting.

Process documentation, P&IDs, ESD, control narratives, PRVs.

Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
