Optimizes the patient journey and drives value to the Disease Area Ecosystems through :
- Enabling related local Disease Area & Ecosystem pods through understanding of disease area scientific knowledge and relevant product knowledge
- Enabling local scientific collaboration & partnership with the Medical Community & liaising to further medical and other related Roche networks
- Driving & encouraging evidence generation and Real World Data (RWD) generation in coordination with the RWD Lead & related stakeholders
Scientific and Medical Support to the Affiliate
Disease Area Scientific Expert & point of reference for allocated Disease Area for relevant podsTailoring & networking around available disease area scientific communication messages & updatesEnsure adequate content knowledge level for key internal stakeholdersTrain team members where appropriate on updates relevant to their disease areaProvide medical governance support to ensure compliance for promotional / non‑promotional activitiesMI Accountable
Communicate global and regionally relevant information to MI responsible(s) in the country, ensuring collaboration with regional and global MIIdentify country‑specific business needs and system improvements, sharing them with regional / global MIEnsure distribution of relevant MI reportsEnsure all MI responsible(s) in affiliates are trained adequately on MI processes and medical computerized systems, including onboarding for newcomersFollow Quality‑related MI accountable responsibilities described in the Medical Information Minimum StandardsFacilitate MI inspection readiness in the affiliateEnsure reconciliations processes with local Drug Safety and local Quality are in placePipeline Product Strategic Support
Provide insight and recommended actions linking to the highest value propositions (VPs) for the affiliate pipeline products and / or new indicationsActively engage with a diversity of stakeholders (internal and external) to support, inform, and shape the ecosystem for new therapeutic areasAct as a custodian of data and evidence (in partnership with relevant internal stakeholders) to ensure credible communication of Roche’s value propositionDeliver relevant content and ensure content accuracy of core documents, e.g., API and regulatory documentsAffiliate RWD
Leverage external and internal stakeholder inputs and partner with key stakeholders to identify data generation gapsSupport and coordinate all clinical programs (including clinical studies and pre‑approval access programs)Required Qualifications And Expertise
BA in Pharmacy / MedicalPreferably not less than 5 years of experience in the pharma industry or related disease areaPrevious experience in the Multiple Sclerosis therapy area is preferredMaster the scientific knowledge (incl. competitive landscape)Established knowledge base / skill set in data generation (clinical trials; IIS, RWE programs), data literacy (translation of data sets into value and outcomes‑based communication platforms), generation of medical information content (FAQs, standard responses, etc.), and medical education program content generation and program managementFluent in English and ArabicRequired Competencies And Skills
