We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies, managing client relationships, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities (Roles & Responsibilities)
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for the P&L integrity of major projects :
- Strategic Bid Leadership : Lead commercial planning, pricing strategies , and bid execution for multi-million dollar telecom / ICT projects and strategic deals.
- Financial Modeling & Reporting : Design, maintain, and own complex financial models, dashboards, and performance reports for executive consumption and decision-making.
- Contract Negotiation : Lead negotiations for contracts and commercial terms, working closely with Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams to finalize agreements and manage contractual deviations.
- Profitability Management : Proactively track, analyze, and report on project profitability, billing milestones, and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Senior Stakeholder Advisory : Provide data-driven, strategic recommendations to Senior Management on all major commercial decisions (bids, renewals, new partnerships, risk mitigation).
- Governance & Compliance : Drive continuous improvement of commercial policies, tools, and templates to strengthen contract governance and minimize business risk.
Skills and Qualifications
Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field10-16 years of experience in commercial management or a related field.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proven track record of managing successful commercial projects.Certifications (Preferred / Mandatory) : Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CFA are strongly preferred and a significant advantageExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.Talent Acquisition
