Assistant Manager, Special Projects (Qatarization) – QNB Group

Role Summary
The incumbent will apply strategic direction on key transformational projects and commercial partnerships within Global Commercial Development (GCD) and the QNB Group, as advised by the Vice President of Special Projects. The incumbent will ensure alignment and deliverables are met within the full project scope, coordinating with various units within GCD.
Responsibilities
- Ensure project charters are being implemented and provide ongoing updates on status.
- Execute and facilitate commercial partnership agreements and provide continuous updates on effectiveness.
- Coordinate and follow‑up with commercial partners and rights holders on agreed terms, ensuring the project is on track.
- Implement project plans and roadmaps, including budget and timelines, for successful delivery.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources for flawless execution.
- Advise on potential risks and update executive management to manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs.
- Coordinate with internal teams within GCD to deliver well‑rounded and impactful projects.
- Manage relationships with external vendors such as third‑party suppliers and ensure ongoing follow‑through.
- Co‑coordinate the support of documentation and implementation of unit policies and procedures that set out principles, methodology, and techniques for effective project management.
Qualifications
University graduate with a degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, or related discipline.Minimum of 4 years experience in Marketing.Good oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).Demonstrated ability to motivate a team and thoroughly follow up on project plans and implementations.Strong planning and organizing ability.Ability to work with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.Required Documents
