Database Administrator (SQL Server and Oracle)

Job Description

The Database Administrator will be responsible for the administration of Oracle 10g / 11g and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 / 2005. Key responsibilities include performance tuning and optimization, backups, restores, and recovery models, index management and optimization, PL-SQL and T-SQL Scripting, and SQL Server Database Replication. Requirements : Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline 3-4 years of experience in the Oracle and SQL Server Database administration area Minimum 2 years’ experience with Oracle 10g / 11g, RMAN, Linux, preferred to have Exp. with Oracle Dataguard Minimum 2 years’ experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 / 2005, Windows Server 2008 R2, Log shipping, Database Replication Preferences : Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with demonstrable ability to interact and influence at all levels within the organization Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player Demonstrable experience of managing, owning and delivering high quality projects to objectives and within time scale with a high degree of accuracy Ability to make decisions based on Best Practices Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment Ability to quickly learn new concepts and essential tools / software is necessary Sound working knowledge of application integration and testing Passionate about problem solving and troubleshooting About The Company : As a Global and a Local Microsoft Gold Partner and a member of Inner Circle (top 1% of Microsoft’s partners around the world), Netways is positioned as a leader in digital transformation.
