Commercial Manager / Head of Augustus Qatar
We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Director of Business Development to work across our portfolio of brands, Lovin Doha and Smashi Business, Smashi Sports to increase company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies. The responsibilities of the Director of Business Development include recommending ways to improve operations planning, attending meetings with clients and advisors, notifying partners of key business developments and managing the team. You should also be able to assess business risks by analyzing financial, statistical, and economic data. The following job description details the skills and competencies required for this level.
Job Description
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, Media & PR agencies, and marketing teams.
- Developing new revenue streams for Augustus Qatar.
- Explore potential brand collaborations and media partnerships beneficial for the company.
- Prepare all required plans for requests for proposals.
- Research emerging trends and recommend new company offerings to meet customer needs.
- Drive and manage monthly revenue across Lovin’ Doha while contributing to other territories, exceeding revenue targets through high-quality pitches and presentations.
- Pitch innovative executions to a wide variety of clients, proactively develop new concepts for potential brand partners, and establish relationships with new partners and clients.
- Create high-quality presentations for pitches, post-campaign reports, and develop monthly and seasonal offers to increase opportunities for brand and commercial partners.
- Collaborative approach with other offices and team members
- Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Assessing marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and recommending improvements as needed.
Requirements
5-7 years of experienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master's degree is advantageous.Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience.Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.Exceptional leadership and management skills.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Strong business acumen.Detail-oriented and persuasive.PEOPLE :
