Salary :   QAR 3,300-3,500 per month

Job Overview :

The Supervisor (Shipwright Department) will be responsible for overseeing all shipwright, blasting, and painting operations in a marine and shipyard environment. The role requires solid technical expertise in surface preparation, coating applications, and marine maintenance procedures. The Supervisor will ensure that all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality and industry standards.

Job Role & Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate shipwright, blasting, and painting works within the shipyard.
• Plan and assign daily tasks to the team to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
• Oversee surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and paint / coating application on vessels and structures.
• Inspect and ensure all work complies with marine coating specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor material usage and ensure all equipment and safety gear are properly maintained.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to coordinate work schedules and manpower allocation.
• Conduct safety toolbox talks and ensure adherence to HSE policies.
• Maintain daily work records, inspection reports, and progress updates.
• Train and guide workers on proper blasting and painting techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all company and client quality and safety procedures.
