Key Responsibilities :
- Invoice Preparation : Accurately generate and issue invoices for products or services rendered, ensuring compliance with customer agreements.
- Billing Discrepancy Resolution : Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate records.
- Payment Receipt Processing : Efficiently receive and process customer payments, ensuring that all transactions are accurately applied to the appropriate accounts.
- Receipt Reconciliation : Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring payments match outstanding invoices and discrepancies are addressed.
- Aging Analysis : Monitor and manage the aging of accounts receivable balances to ensure timely collections and reduce overdue balances.
- Customer Communication : Proactively engage with customers regarding payment statuses, overdue balances, and establishing payment arrangements.
- Collections Management : Contact customers with overdue balances, negotiate payment plans, and resolve payment issues to secure outstanding payments.
- Payment Application : Apply received payments to customer accounts accurately in the accounting system, ensuring precise financial records.
- Account Reconciliation : Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger with general ledger balances to maintain financial accuracy.
- Data Entry & Maintenance : Accurately input and update customer information and transaction details into the accounting system.
- Recordkeeping : Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions and relevant documentation.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations related to accounts receivable operations.
- Reporting & Analysis : Generate and analyze reports on accounts receivable activities, including aging reports, collection progress, and cash flow forecasts.
